Nest Protect tests itself over 400 times a day — just check the status in the Nest app. It also has a friendly human voice that gives you early warnings.
It tells you what and where the danger is
The new Split-Spectrum Sensor looks for both fast and slow-burning fires. It also has a 10-year CO sensor so it can tell you where poisonous, invisible CO is hiding.
Works with your Nest Thermostat and Nest Cam
If Nest Protect sounds the alarm, it tells your Nest Thermostat to turn off the furnace. Your Nest Cam will also record a clip so you can see what happened.
