With the free Nest app,¹ you can check in on your home and control your system from anywhere. You can also tap the Nest Tag on Nest Guard, or enter a passcode on the keypad, to arm and disarm.

If you forget to set the alarm, you can get a Remind Me alert on your phone² so you can arm right from the Nest app.

Stick Nest Detect on a window and you’ll know when it opens. Stick it on a wall and it senses motion in a room. Better yet, stick it on a door and it can do both.

Open quietly.
Press the button on Nest Detect to open a door without setting off the alarm. The house stays armed and the alarm stays silent.
